A few years ago, I bought one of the most exciting cameras I'd heard of: The SIGMA DP1s.
A little point-and-shoot camera that featured an APS-C-sized FOVEON sensor, which is a rather unconventional sensor to work with.
It's a super difficult camera to master due to its obsolete and often limiting technology. You see, that Foveon sensor really loves light, and lot's of it. Thus really only letting you operate with ISOs around the 50 to 200 mark, it really works out like a film camera.
The old tech proved to be a fun factor to enhance creativity. But also it proved to be its downfall, my unit stopped working in early 2023. So I decided to showcase some of the images that I loved while it was still usable.
